With Christmas only three days away, Carol Claus agrees to her father’s request that she leave the North Pole on a mission to help save Christmas. Joining single father Ben Hanson and his children for the holidays seems an easy enough task until Santa informs her that Ben is the man behind the disturbing new book ‘Beyond Bah Humbug: Why Lying to Your Children about Santa Claus is a Bad Idea’.
Posing as Miss Kane, the children’s new nanny, Carol pulls out all the stops to show Ben how fun Christmas can be, all the while struggling to understand how one man could hate the holidays so much. How could she, Santa’s only daughter, be so attracted to a man who refuses to believe her father exists?

Miss Kane’s Christmas is a simply delightful Christmas novella that leads straight to the heart.
Carol has a short time to turn around one Scrooge into a Christmas spirit believer. Ben is a very sad, lonely man. Even with his two lovely kids, he just cannot believe in Santa, elves, decorating or much gift giving. To him it’s all a lie told to unsuspecting children in order to bribe good behavior for a few short weeks. He is planning on writing a parenting book to show parents how they are harming their kids by going along with their belief in the happy ole elf. Talk about Bah Humbug!
Carol has been given the assignment, by her father, Santa Claus, to get Ben to not only believe but to not write that horrible book. It’s not going to be easy. His adorable kids want Christmas, do believe in all the magic despite their dad’s efforts to erase the traditional spirit of Christmas. And even more trouble – Carol is starting to like or maybe even love this guy. So how’s she going to pull off this Christmas miracle when the man she loves doesn’t believe in her father?
If you love Christmas stories – especially ones where Santa is a major character then you will adore the Christmas Central Romantic Comedy series. Yes, these are slightly older novellas, but if you collect or read any Christmas story from Thanksgiving onward… then you’ll know that a great Santa Claus story is welcome any time during the holiday season.
I enjoyed this one so much and I’m heading back to get the next story in the series.
