As a wedding planner at Carrick Park Hotel Ailsa McCormack has devoted herself to making sure couples get their perfect day, but just occasionally that comes at a price – in this case, organizing a Christmas Day wedding at the expense of her own Christmas.
Not that Ailsa minds. There’s something very special about Carrick Park during the festive season and she’s always been fascinated by the past occupants of the place; particularly the beautiful and tragic Ella Carrick, whose striking portrait still hangs at the top of the stairs.
And then an encounter with a tall, handsome and strangely familiar man in the drawing room on Christmas Eve sets off a chain of events that transforms Ailsa’s lonely Christmas into a far more magical occasion than she could have ever imagined …

A touch of mystery, a thrill of love on several levels, the glimmer of a time slip, and that magic that shimmers in the air around Christmas time – combine them all, give it a good stir and you’ll discover an emotional, magical Christmas tale that will capture your attention. A Little Bit of Christmas gives me just enough of several of my favorite genres in one love story that gives a few goose bumps for good measure.
Ailsa is spending Christmas Eve at work, but even considering that she’s working this Christmas there really isn’t any other place she’d rather be than at Carrick Park – a place that has feed her imagination for some time now. Taking a moment to herself the night before a huge Christmas wedding, Ailsa will discover that not all strangers truly are that and that love is stronger than most of us believe. A familiar stranger will give her a few gifts that are completely unexpected and perhaps the greatest of them all is love.
Told with a touch of awe and magic, A Little Bit of Christmas Magic will transport you across time to solve a mystery and get caught up in a few love stories. If you’ve followed the Rossetti Mysteries than you’ll be reunited with a few characters you’ll recognize. I enjoyed my time in this world, and it definitely gave me some Christmas magic I can return to at any time. This story will appeal to many readers across several genres, but especially if you love Christmas Romance. I’d recommend it to any reader who enjoys a good, tingling love story, a bit of mystery, a step back in time and that magic that is Christmas. Enjoy.
